Strong performance for diverse scientific research applications
Busy pharmaceutical and life sciences laboratories demand instruments that are precise, durable and efficient. The UV-1900i system is the optimal choice for routine pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and life science analyses, quality assurance and R&D. Applications include DNA and protein quantitation, dissolution testing and thermal melt analysis of biomolecules.
For example, you can use the UV-1900i UV-Vis spectrophotometer for nucleic acid quantitation. Trace quantities down to 0.7 μL can be measured using a TrayCell® or Nano Stick. Using TrayCell, a calibration curve for 4 μL of λDNA was obtained in the range between 25 ng/μL and 500 ng/μL. Bio methods come standard on the front panel to quickly run routine tests without the need of a PC.
