Brevis™ GC-2050
Gas Chromatograph
Unmatched performance in a space-saving design
A versatile, compact GC system that maximizes lab efficiency and delivers high-quality analytical results
The Brevis GC-2050 offers high-quality performance without limitations typically found in other compact systems. Only 350 mm (13.78”) wide with AOC-30i autosampler, it is a perfect fit for a variety of labs. Although compact, the oven can accommodate two 100-meter industry standard columns for dual line analysis.
With ease of use in mind, the GC-2050 was designed without a touch screen display and only three physical buttons: start, stop, and maintenance. Users can quickly execute runs and perform maintenance without entering the software. The remote display app allows advance users to connect to up to four GC instruments with a tablet for troubleshooting, diagnostics and instrument control.

Easy upkeep and user-friendly design boost uptime
The Brevis GC-2050 offers quick and easy one-touch inlet maintenance. Just slide the ClickTek™ Nut lever to open and close the injection port without the need for tools. The ClickTek device also simplifies column attachment with a one-touch operation – when you hear the click, the column is securely connected.
For inlet upkeep, press the “Maintenance” button on the front of the instrument to lower the GC inlet and oven temperature and automatically stop the gas supply.

Automated functions make operation easy and efficient
With Shimadzu’s Analytic Intelligence integrated into the Brevis GC-2050, you can control the system remotely via your smart device or PC. The Clean Pilot feature ensures stable analytical results through quick and efficient automatic conditioning.
Additionally, when connecting both a main and a spare gas cylinder to the optional gas selector, the device monitors the pressure of the main gas cylinder and automatically switches to the backup line when the primary cylinder becomes empty. -
