The built-in ICDS-40A electrodialytic anion suppressor achieves high sensitivity – exceeding sensitivity requirements for EPA methods, such as EPA 300 and EPA 300.1 – and provides extremely stable results without chemical regenerants.

And at only 16.5 inches wide, it maximizes bench space and is used in applications including environmental, chemical, pharmaceutical and food science. And, like all of our instruments, comes with access to our expert technical support teams.

    The ICDS-40A anion suppressor enables simultaneous analysis and regeneration. Because this novel suppressor uses the detector’s effluent for regeneration, you don’t have to perform the time-consuming offline process using harmful chemicals. This feature also eliminates the need to purchase and dispose of chemicals.

    A unique solution for electrolytic suppression, it includes a folded eluent flow path that doubles the cation exchange surface area in a smaller physical volume. This design delivers thermal stability, reduced peak spreading and increased sensitivity.

An efficient, economical design

The Prominence IC is nearly 50% narrower than comparable ion chromatographs on the market. At just 16.5 inches (420 mm) wide it takes up significantly less space on the bench. The narrow width column oven and modular autosampler help to create this unique, compact design. Other space-saving features include the built-in ICDS-40A anion suppressor and stackable autosampler.

This small size gives you more room for other instruments, data stations and workspace.

 


Exceeds sensitivity requirements for EPA methods

  • Supports EPA Methods 300 and 300.1 for environmental analysis

    Widely used in water analysis, Prominence IC is ideal for EPA 300 for common anions and the extended EPA 300.1 Method, which includes inorganic disinfection byproducts.

    Running ion chromatography standard test methods on the Prominence IC provides excellent resolution because there is no interference of the water dip on the early-eluting peaks, and you can extend runs to maximize resolution and injection volume for trace analysis. Also, it enables precise, stable analysis to ensure repeatable results.
