Environmental Regulatory Compliance
The Clean Water Act(CWA), Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) provide the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) with the authority to regulate pollutants in navigable waters, drinking water and supplies, and groundwater, soil, and solid waste.
Shimadzu works closely with regulatory agencies, such as the USEPA, and consensus organizations, such as ASTM or Standard Methods to develop new methods or modify existing methods to be compliant with modern technology. Shimadzu understands the pressures of the environmental laboratory ranging from taking the sample to reporting a final result and we work diligently to provide you with the lowest detection limits, highest throughput, and greatest instrument reliability without sacrificing the analytical techniques prescribed in the approved environmental methods.
