This leak sensor monitors and detects the presence of organic vapor. Mobile phase generally contains some amount of organic solvent that vaporizes either at room temperature or at elevated temperatures. Since the column oven chamber remains sealed during operation, the vapor from any leaked solvent is detected by the vapor leak sensor. The leak sensor is located behind the screen inside the main oven chamber. If the value of the leak sensor signal exceeds the LEAK THR, an error is generated, and temperature regulation stops. The sensitivity threshold of the leak sensor needs to be adjusted if an error message fails to appear during a known mobile phase leak, or if an error message appears when there is no leak.
Is the problem related to the leak sensor?

[[Yes->Leak Sensor Adjustment - CTO (2038)]] [[No->COOLER MODE - CTO (2046)]]<<back "Back">>
