If there is no air leak, the plunger of the syringe will return to its original position.</li> <li>Loosen the fitting (A) at the top of the head holder and remove the syringe.</li> <li>Loosen the head holder top and bottom fittings (A, B), and attach the original rinse tube.</li> <li>Reattach the SUS tubing and the inlet tube.</li> <li>Tighten the male nut PEEK (A) of the inlet tube to the inlet check valve (B) by hand.</li> <li>Tighten the male nut (A) of the SUS pipe R (B) pressure sensor with an 8 mm wrench, and attach SUS pipe R (B)</li> <li>While securing the outlet check valve(A) with a 10 mm wrench (B), tighten the male nut (C) of the SUS pipe R outlet check valve with an 8 mm wrench (D).</li> <li>Close the pump door.</li> <li>Press [Next]. The next screen is displayed.</li> <li>Select the mobile phase that will be used for purging, and then press [Next]. The next screen is displayed.</li> <li>Press [Start]. Purging starts. After purging finishes, the next screen is displayed automatically.</li> <li>After replacing the plunger seal, perform a check.</li> <li>Is the pumping (pressure) stable?</li> <li>Is fluid leaking from the gap between the pump head and the head holder?</li> <li>Press [Exit]. The replacement history is recorded in the maintenance log.</li> </ol> <h3>Related Notes</h3>If there is an air leak, check the connection portion between the flangeless fitting ASSY and the head holder. Perform pumping for at least 1 hour.</li> <li>Loosen the male nut (A) of the resistor tube inlet with an 8 mm wrench</li> <li>Loosen the male nut (C) of the resistor tube outlet by hand, and remove the resistor tube (B) from the flow line</li> <li>Attach the male nut (A) of the resistor tube inlet that was removed to the column (D) with an 8 mm wrench</li> <li>Tighten it with the 8 mm wrench.</li> <li>Attach the other male nut (C) of the resistor tube outlet to the resistor tube (D), and tighten it by hand.</li> <li>Close the column oven door.</li> <li>Replace the solvent in reservoir bottle A with the original mobile phase.</li> <li>Insert the suction filter into reservoir bottle A.</li> </ol> <h3>Related Notes</h3>When using a buffer solution in the reservoir bottle, replace with distilled water or purified water, and after pumping at least 20 mL into the instrument, replace with new 2-propanol.
