Overview
Title: Fundamentals of Chiral Chromatography and Method Development in Pharmaceutical Research
Duration: 37 minutes
Available On Demand
Summary
Biological assessment of individual enantiomers of drug substances has been critical in the development and commercialization of pharmaceuticals for more than 40 years. Resolution via chiral chromatography continues to be the standard technique for both analysis and preparative isolation. The non-predictive nature of chiral chromatography necessitates the screening of multiple chiral stationary phases (CSPs), mobile phases, and other conditions to find the desired resolution. This has created a bottleneck in pharmaceutical research. As the volume of samples has increased, method development requires a faster, automated, higher-throughput screening (HTS) solutions. In this webinar, we will review the fundamentals of chiral chromatography, including stationary and mobile phase options, and discuss some strategies for fast, efficient, and automated method development.
